Been busy with real world crap. But finally got to watch Legend of Korra Book 3. OMG it's so good! I need to go back and frame by frame everything! Every time I watch Korra it makes me want to animate! Don't have much time to do it in though with everything that's going on nowadays.

So yeah. Baby has been born! Whoo-hoo. She's actually 4 months old now. A little angel. I love her so much, but yeah maternity is over and I'm back at work. I'm also trying to get back to making art when I get a chance. Which I feel like I'm rusty at again. Also weird carpal tunnel issues have been plaguing me after the labor, in both wrists. It's pretty horrible. I'm really hoping after I stop breastfeeding it will subside. From what I've read online it is something that can happen with breastfeeding. So I'm really hoping its that and not my heavy-handed drawing finally catching up to me. The fact that my left wrist is also pretty bad gives me hope.

Um what else is new. Haven't been reading much just catching up on all my shows, and reverting to my ridiculously normal fangirl self. Apparently having a baby and getting married hasn't stopped be from being a 14 yr old inside. YAY!  So Korra season 2. AMAZING. Although I'm kind of not liking Korra so much anymore. But Avatar Juan! New favorite! And Makorra is over. Poop. But I don't blame Mako, Korra became THAT girlfriend. Even I wanted to breakup with her.

Oh yeah totally late to this train, but finally watched Young Justice. OH my god thanks WB/DC for giving me another giant ship to set sail on. Fucking Red Arrow/Cheshire. CheshRoy, Redcat, Joy. I'm so on board with that ship. Holy crap and it's like the perfect fangirl fantasy for me. Well besides the whole Romeo/Juliet forbidden love thing and the complete head-butting with underlying flirtation that I totally fall for. It's totally got an asian/white guy pairing! AND THEY HAVE A BABY! Haha. This ship is probably the closest one to my life! Well minus the awesome world with superheroes and ninja assasins. I've at least got a hot red-headed husband (well reddish) with a halfie baby girl. So score! Too bad that shit is now over. DANGIT!

Well everyone as if I didn't have a difficult enough time creating art on a regular basis, I went and got pregnant! So yeah that's where I've been the last few months. My first little one is due this October and I've been freaking out about getting my life organized and prepared for a new family member. I'm going to try and be better about making things. We'll see I'll at least try and keep up with my studies/sketches at the least.

Finally wrapped up the inks for Space Chimp. A four page comic short for our studio's first art anthology: PowerLines. Soon to hit convention tables near you... I'll try and get some small renders of the inks up to show. It's kind of silly and asanine but hey I had four pages and less than a month to do it in. Couldn't really come up with anything better just wanted to draw silly faces. Monkey faces. Which is funny because I HATE monkeys. But they are fun to draw. Now to color!

Oh yeah BORDERLANDS 2 comes out Tuesday. So I may be MIA for a bit, but I promise once I've got it out of my system to work on more Mistborn stuff, err and try to finish the Mistborn art I've started.

Well my boyfriend and I just got a new puppy this weekend. Yay! But unfortunately some of my time now has to be split. I've managed to keep going on some of my pieces. Sorry I keep switching what I'm working on. My artist ADD is in full effect. I keep hopping onto digital painting, but I'll try and work more on that silly little Vin vs. Shan animatic, and maybe get around to roughing out some of the scenes soon. I just want to finish boarding the thing.. but still sort of stuck on how to handle the next scene. Hoping it will come to me.

But right now I'm just need to find a balance between time with puppy, time with boyfriend, time at the gym (that went out the window first), and time for just resting (SLEEP, GLORIOUS GLORIOUS SLEEP!) to keep going on my personal projects. So stay tuned for updates!
